Dog Daze in Memphis
The Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County is celebrating its 75th anniversary with Dog Daze of Memphis, a celebration of animals and art.
75 decorated 44-inch statues in the likeness of “Buddy” a three-legged black lab rescued in Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina are being exhibited throughout Memphis. The Buddy Dog statues will be on display during the portion of the Redbirds' July 12-13 homestand that includes a day-night doubleheader on Saturday and an afternoon game on Sunday.
